Karl Lindberg

CEO/Co-founder, AdRelevance

At AdRelevance we have a “Profitability first” approach so for me it was a real highlight when the news portal Breakit published a list of the top 15 most profitable E–Commerce companies 2025 in Sweden, and 33% of companies on the list are our clients.

I created an Advent calendar with some of Sweden’s most charismatic E-Commerce profiles and it got a really good engagement.

We work hard with digital PR for our clients so it felt good to also be able to lead by example and “walk the walk”.

This actually happened in 2026, but here goes:

When the news broke that OpenAI would start testing ads in ChatGPT, I quickly wrote a LinkedIn post, because we like to be first in Sweden with these types of updates. To make it more fun, I added a question for people to guess the launch date in Sweden.

And to motivate guesses, I offered lunch on me in Stockholm at any restaurant. Things escalated quickly: I ended up with over 100 comments, and the restaurant everyone picked? Frantzén, lunch for one person costs 5,500 (!) SEK (~510 Euro).

So, it turns out it will be an expensive LinkedIn post, but also fun with lots of engagement.

Feel free to post your guess here, I’m already “ruined”:) Linkedin post

Linus Hellberg, Ridestore.

Ridestore has been a client of ours for over 10 years, so I have a good insight into just how good they are at what they do. The press wants to cover them because of their consistent success, but Linus is the e-commerce equivalent of Max Martin: no need for the spotlight, he just delivers results.

Fedja Porobic, Porobic Group

I called Fedja one hour after my colleague Pontus Vippelius broke the news that AI Mode was launched in Sweden and asked if he could do a special podcast episode with Pontus and speak a few minutes on the topic. 2 hours later Fedja and Pontus were in the studio recording a really awesome and insightful episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFzPK7IH_cU

I was so impressed with how good Fedja, on the fly, was discussing a hot topic that is not even his specialty.

Joel Svensson. Partykungen.

Joel took the decision to step down as CEO after 16 years at Partykungen. I go way back with Joel since Partykungen has been a client of ours since 2012. Joel has been a really valuable person to discuss things with. For example when CSS-Partner for Google Shopping became a thing in 2018 Joel encouraged me that AdRelevance should go all-in on becoming the first CSS-Partner in Sweden. So we did as Joel suggested and went live first in Sweden with Google Shopping-ads for Partykungen, by AdRelevance.

And Partykungen was the first company in Sweden to get the massive kickback that Google offered initially. https://www.ehandel.se/eu-tvingar-google-att-ge-superrabatt-pa-sokannonser_13331-html

I am also very impressed with how Joel handled the pandemic for a company that sells a wide range of party supplies. No panic from Joel, just full focus on adapting to the current situation.

Henrik Holmqvist, AdRelevance

My colleague since 11 years. We call him Yoda internally and he is the type of person who makes other people better without any need of his own to be in the spotlight. Henrik is a true problem solver and one of the most reliable, intelligent people I know.

When my colleague Robert thought he’d created the best joke in the world: “How do donkeys sound in Silicon Valley? AI, AI, AI”

I couldn’t stop laughing. Not only because it was a good joke, but also because, for a brief moment, I think Robert genuinely believed he was the new Ricky Gervais 🙂

I think how Google places ads in AI Mode will have a significant impact on Google Ads, particularly on how much we can control and influence when and where ads for our clients are shown. The same applies to ads in ChatGPT.

It will be fascinating to see whether Google and OpenAI adopt similar approaches in targeting and transparency, or if they take very different paths.

Four key traits of elite agency experts:

  1. Deep client knowledge: They understand their clients’ business inside and out.
  2. Data mastery: They ensure the best-quality data and structure feeds and inputs optimally.
  3. AI-driven control: They leverage AI to its fullest while staying in control of performance.
  4. Agile execution: They quickly adapt, adjust, and test strategies as the landscape evolves

Aim to surround yourself with people who inspire you, challenge you and make you better. And do everything you can to avoid time-wasters who spread negativity and drain your energy.

As a parent, 90% of the time you’ll ever spend with your kids happens during their first 18 years. By the time your child turns 12, you’ve already spent about 75% of that time with them.

My tip: turn off your phone between 17:00–21:00 and give your family 100% quality attention.

Also, find a hobby completely unrelated to work. Mine has been tennis, and I finally won the Swedish Championships in doubles in my age group this summer, yay!

More recently, I’ve started salsa classes with my wife (yes, I mostly look ridiculous, but we have fun), and I’ve also returned to Spanish classes. Hobbies like these bring balance, fun, and a chance to grow outside of work.
